Splashtown has always been a shite hole.

WaterWorld was so much better.

I was in Houston when the chlorine truck overturned I-610 at Southwest Fwy. Some died instantaneously after their lungs were burnt, others survived. Buildings nearby could smell the problem and closed down air/windows/doors until 'the solution for pollution is dilution" and the fumes wafted off to the east.

People who died back then from being buried/burned alive from the overturned asphalt truck were the ones that were even harder to forget.

A visitor warned people to stay away from the park after a "horrible chemical smell" started coming from the baby and toddler area.

We were there today when it happened. They made us exit about 3:00. Most people said the incident occurred in the kiddie pool area, but I can't confirm that. We were in line on the other side of the park when the evacuation mandate occurred.
