Have you heard the hooplah about Sydney Sweeney and this American Eagle ad?

It appears American Eagle’s recent ad campaign with Sydney Sweeney has ruffled some feathers (pun intended). Sydney makes a reference to good genes being passed down genetically, this is a play on words because the product being advertised are jeans. I think it’s a pretty sweet and straightforward ad, but not everyone agrees. USA Today has called this ad “a dog whistle for eugenics” which is a pretty remarkable reach. What kind of world are we living in when a company can’t just put out a video of a hot chick selling product? IMO the left can’t stand that the symbol of Americana is a smoking hot blue eyed heterosexual blonde and I believe the left would prefer the model of this campaign to be a non binary person of color and watching them melt from this has been hilarious
