Friend of the family.

Nicest guy ever. Found out he killed his dad when he was younger. Did time. Not sure of the circumstances.

Now he has ALS. Sucks.

I grew up in West Monroe and went to Drew Elementary school. A couple of years after I moved, this girl that I was friends with, her dad, killed her mom. Like a life insurance thing.

Last I heard he was in Angola.

I didnt know her because she was younger, but my wife went to high school with a girl who stabbed her mom over 50 times, a lot of them in the face. My wife had been with her the night she killed her mom and had to testify in her trial. She was convicted of murder but is probably getting a mistrial because the DA effed up. This was a pretty big story and was all over 60 Minutes, etc.

Didn't really "know" this person but a guy that maintained my yard and flower beds. I found out that he was in jail when it was time to start doing my yard.
His cell phone was not answering so I tried to google his business and ended up finding news articles about him.
Allegedly he killed a guy that was fricking his ex.
I can certainly agree with killing some cockroach that harms your family but throwing away your life and freedom over pussy is just moronic.
He was a nice guy and he did a great job. I also read posts that stated that he was doing yards after he'd been charged so I guess he was out on bail.
Glad I never criticized his work.

I know a person that claimed they did. This person was also a compulsive liar/psycho. My thought process was kinda like "Am I supposed to be impressed? scared? WTF"

Other than that. nah.

2 people

Both 19 years old, drunk as skunk and hit a construction worker at 75MPH or faster.

The only jail time they did, was the night of arrest and incident, both got probation.

I've known 3. The year the Broncos played the Falcons in the super bowl, a guy I was friends with got up at halftime to "buy some beer" and left our party. He was gone maybe 20 minutes when the phone rang. My girlfriend answered and started screaming "omg Todd just killed Charley". I was sitting next to the guy right before he left.

Had to have been an awkward second half viewing. Did your team win?

Yes. It's a pretty insane story.

In 1995, a kid i went to school w/ from K-12 broken into his elderly neighbor's home to steel from her. we were seniors in high school at the time. If i remember the story right, she had won a bunch of money at bingo either that night or right before. She walked in on him going through her stuff and he killed her.

He returned home and it's alleged his mother helped him destroy his bloody clothes and stuff. they were considered suspects at the time, but for whatever reason they weren't arrested at the time and moved to Oklahoma.

In 2011, a tip came into the sheriff's office and they questioned him in Oklahoma where he confessed and implicated his mother. They were both charged w/ murder; however, he was found mentally not-competent to stand trial and his conflicting versions of the story led to the charges against his mother being dropped. He's still in a psychiatric custody in Louisiana.

After all this occurred, the mother was arrested in Oklahoma. She was accused of aiding and abetting her son in abusing kids over about a 10 year period. I looked her up in the Oklahoma offender registry and she's got 12 more years go. The timing of the abuse was such that he was assisting him w/ abusing kids while he was in junior high and high school.

The whole thing is just monstrous.

found the body but found enough evidence to send him to prison for 1st degree.

Doubtful.

Doubt it all you want to but it's true. It was a family member so I am well up to date on how it went down.

I won't go into too many details but after he murdered the guy he stole his identity and was soon arrested for that. He was serving a few years for fraud and ID theft and when he was down to about 3 months before parole they finally felt they had enough of a case with witnesses and circumstantial evidence to seek 1st-degree murder. He is now serving life with no chance for parole in a Colorado prison training dogs as his prison job.

I knew the Chime street kids that killed an LSU student and tried to burn his body up in his bronco somewhere near Kirby Smith lot. This was late 90 or 91. They got caught.

Was good friends with a guy who killed some girls BF, cuz he was an older man (we were in our late 20s) in his 50s and "allegedly" abusing her. Dude Beat him to death with his fists and his his body somewhere in north La. He got caught, 2nd degree murder. Up for parole 2013, denied.
