Sadly a three-legged chow sent me to the hospital at age 8. 5 stitches later it was someone else’s problem at the pound.

A chow came at me from a few houses down (at my buddies house years ago) I kept thinking that it was gonna stop before it got directly on top of me.
When it got about 20 ft I realized it wasn’t gonna stop. So I raised my knee and he ran right into it this biting it.
My knee was sore for few days. I don’t remember if it ran off or I had to fight it off.
I tried to pet my neighbors dog through the fence and it but me through my yard work gloves. It was a friendly dog before and after that I just think the dog had issues with borders and probably territorial

Many years ago my dad was passed out drunk and our dog bit him in the testicles. He woke up screaming.

We had a chow and a doberman growing up. They got in a fight when I was about 13. Chow bit me on the leg pretty good. I don't think she meant to. It bled pretty good, but no stiches were needed.

My family still recounts me getting bitten by a boxer when I was 3. I don't remember it but I still have the scars on my forearm and wrist.

I only had a pinch bite on my calf that got infected and took a while to heal. A neighbor’s dog hid in a stand of shrubs and jumped out and got me. So, wasn’t serious but I remember that stinking fleabag.

I had a house trailer I bought to rent out on our property in north La. I went to collect rent one afternoon and like a fool, decided to pet their Heinz 57 dog tied to a tree. Bastard tried to rip my arm off, only time I ever fainted. I had a gash to the bone, tried to be tough and bandage it for few days until my arm looked like a watermelon and stunk like shite. Finally went to hospital, doc said lucky I didn’t wait another day.

Yup. It was purposefully though. Was doing protection training with a Cane Corso. I had my bite jacket on but not my pants which was a mistake.

This dog was green and not gripping well. Handler was also inexperienced and not restraining dog well enough. Dog latched onto forearm properly then switched to my calf and filleted me open. He did exactly what he was supposed to do really.

Only got 6 stitches bc they didn’t want to seal up a dog bite wound. 2 rounds of anti bio tics and several steri strips.

I got fricked up trying to stop our bigger dogs from fighting. Just me and the kids at the house grilling in the backyard. Dogs go at it and my kids start freaking out so I just started beating them with the spatula in my hand instead of getting the hose. Eventually broke the spatula and tried pulling them apart with my hands.

Ended up with tore jeans and lots of blood which made the kids freak out even more. Don't remember where my wife was but had to get my MIL to bring me to the clinic to get 4 stitches in my arm and maybe 6 in my knee. The older dog was kicking the shite out of me during the scuffle and 2 of my ribs were sore for about 6 months.
