The corporation that I work for (it’s in Skilled nursing/long term care/geriatrics) changed their “definition” of hazard pay recently. Therefore we don’t receive hazard pay.

I was curious if any other industry or business had done changed their definition as well. Although I have a good salary and don’t mind, I’m sure there are other people where I work who could benefit from it.

No, but I did get to keep working every day. Ironically, the only time I missed was the 14 days when I had coronavirus

Did they take pto out?

Our corporate policy is, if you test positive, the company uses your pto until it’s exhausted. If you’re still under quarantine after pto is exhausted then they will still compensate for you at your hourly wage

We should get hazard pay from having to be around our wife and kids all day.

Fiancé got a check from her hospital for hazard pay.

I have not received one from my company.

Wife did, extra $10-$20 per hour at the hospital depending on the shift she was working.

Hazard pay stopped last week.

It has been easier to obtain my bonus during the pandemic. But no hazard pay.

No, but my family’s entire business has been shutdown since March and is still shutdown due to the dumbassery that is the governor.
