Haven’t seen the first truck picking up any debris on West Causeway approach/22 or the surrounding neighborhoods at all

I see the black trucks everywhere, just never picking anything up.

Have you posted on Nextdoor yet?

I saw them picking up like the 3rd or 4th house in my neighborhood but no progress since. Not in city limits. Saw a few trucks on the highway that day but that’s it.

That’s why I’m here Out neighborhood Facebook group is getting lit. They are a short hair away from rounding up the debris and dumping it on Mike Coopers front step

They are waiting for FEMA to authorize the pickup which begin sometime within the next two weeks.

All day Sunday on 190. Was late to church bc they had flag men alternating flow on one lane.

Mark Johnson posted yesterday that they are waiting for AT&T and Spectrum to get done before they start the big sweep in Covington. Said it would be gridlock with the utilities and debris pickup all clogging the streets. He's not wrong.

only thing i seen picked up anywhere was private companies paid by homeowner to do it
they arent picking up anything anywhere for storm clean up
hell we only had one garbage pick up since the storm and before the storm our twice a week garbage was rarely picked up once a week. all forms of services are not even trying to do their jobs because they cant hire anyone to do the work

Hopefully Mike Cooper can take over some companies like he can take your personal property and get some work done soon

A couple of streets around me have stuff picked up but most don't in Baton Rouge. Since our trash can is picked up twice a week, I've been slowly loading it with storm stuff if there is extra space. I bet I will have mine picked up before the storm debris truck makes it out here. At this rate, I don't see how everything is picked up by end of year.
