That's what matters.

there isn't a real hill for a 100 miles "southwest-ish" of Houston.

I really wish Gulf Coast Weather would work on my work computer. It used to work just fine but ever since they changed the site, it's been blocked on my work computer.

My buddy wants to know if you can unban the pj impersonator over there, or at least unblock his ip address, he said he can't even read the forums

This is very interesting. The Euro and CMC show this hitting TX then cutting NE and getting back over water before coming into Louisiana. I am worried about the rain more than anything. The GFS is running but I don't know that I trust it at all. If the Euro continues to show this hooking NE then people around here are going to go into panic mode over the flooding potential.

No major changes in the GFS through the first 84 hrs. Evolution of the ULL over the Gulf is slightly different and the system encounters more shear vs. 00z. Development is a little slower and landfall is a bit SE of 00z and weaker.

Could we see an evacuation of New Orleans since the pumps aren't working?

Cat 2 or higher... I could see mandatory. Anything smaller... maybe voluntary of certain areas.

This shite sucks because it waste valuable time preparing

Hell, here in Katy I'm watering my yard everyday and it's still crispy AF... Rain would be nice... a Cat 1 to possibly even a 3 = not so nice
