Hippos vacate the area if a bull elephant means business.

This article is dumb.
It says a tiger has 3 inch canines and 4 inch claws and is an ambush predator.
Tigers do attack from the back and typically get their jaw around the back of their preys neck. Typically they bite and hold on and there isn’t much thrashing around.
A grizzly has tons of fat and muscle on the back of their neck - way more than 3 inches worth. And that’s not taking in to account the bears thick fur. The tiger couldn’t get its jaw around its neck. So it would be a puncture wound, but not enough to kill a grizzly.

Russian brown bears, which can reach 1200lbs, apparently make up 1.4% of the Siberian Tiger's diet. With that said, while I think a tiger could bring down a bear, if we're saying out of 10 I think the bear takes the majority. However, I think the tiger would pose a sizeable enough threat that even in a confrontation it's probably getting out of there with its life. It's still a fricking tiger.
Also, the OP should make it a Siberian Tiger, not a Bengal. More relevant and less of a size discrepancy.

This is a tired arse argument. A tiger would frick a bear up.

If the tiger surprised the grizzley game over.
Squared up? Both gonna be hurting. No clue.

Bears are very fast. They can run over 35 mph. Yall just don't understand. A grizzly is a bad bad dude. Hell the scientific name for them is something like ursus horriblius.
No one is saying grizzly bears are pussies

Tiger agility too much for the bear.
Tiger would just jump on his back and get the back of that neck.
Game over.

Now gorilla vs grizzly would be fun
If the grizzly doesn't get 50 feet to build up a rush I think the gorilla takes him in close quarters
Lol, what? You're trying to check knuckles at a knife fight. Will be a grizzly scene for your gorilla in under 2 mins.

Grizzly. Not even close.

They are both killing machines but grizzly is too big for a lion or tiger.

I love Tigers and I do think they can do some damage but a grizzly is 1200 lbs of muscle and although not as quick or nimble the power is un matched.
Correct

Highly incorrect.

Grizzly wins but I'll admit this is a more interesting debate than Grizzly vs Gorilla.
