Jane Austen? I bet her literary tastes are expansive. Let’s pick her apart.

White men bad.

I read all the damn time, beyotch. Currently devouring Pillars of the Earth, but I mostly go for horror or fantasy. Sorry if it doesn't match up to your expectations.

Be thankful he reads. There are a few people from high school I know that to this day they pride themselves on never having finished a book.

Let people read what they want. Reading nonfiction is better than not reading at all.

Love it. They’re this close to just fully admitting they want men to be defective women.

I actually agree wholeheartedly with the main premise of the article. Men don’t read enough fiction. But that’s not an intrinsic problem with men. It’s a glaring deficiency in the publishing world to produce fiction works with strong, high value, traditionally masculine characters.

The fiction world has been eviscerated by feminism and race, and it’s why women just love consuming a shitload of women-centric literature.

Edit - and to add, a ton of our forefathers were avid readers. Teddy Roosevelt used to sit on a lake reciting memorized poetry and he read books written by great men all of the time. Reading shapes a person’s worldview.

And this from a magazine that was once sold to men who weren’t afraid to be men.
