The Philippine people made a shite load of them in WW2 and even after. They were made out of car lee springs. Had one when I was over there but lost it somewhere.
OP, one can buy one for around $25 for what you have. Still, cool knife.
What is the name of this knife? And where can I buy it?

My grandpa was born in 1887. I'm 66 now
He & his family moved from Arkansas to Kansas when he was 13...by wagon train. They homesteaded land that had been recently cleared of Comanches.
He flew in WWI.
Had my father in 1927. He served in the Pacific in WWII.

Probably not. I'm sure he used it after the war and no telling who else in his family. It hasn't had anything done to it in probably 50 years or more.

I have a Fold3 account. I'll be able to find pretty much anything you want to know about his service on there including, possibly, scans of his enlistment records, etc. You can give me his name and home state or you can sign up for a membership yourself
Here
LMK I look up military records as a hobby bc I'm weird

I didn't even know that was a thing. I have a couple other family members I could look up, too. I may do the 7 day free trial and see how I like it.
Appreciate it!

OP did your great great uncle live in Louisiana following the war? The Secretary of State has an archive with abstracts of his service if so.
He was in AL and GA.
