Had a pretty good salad bar too if you could find one that wasn’t ghetto. That however was a pretty tall order

They've really sucked in recent years. I can see why.

“This announcement does not mean ‘Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday,'" Lederman said in a statement. "Today’s actions will allow us an opportunity to reposition the company for long-term stability as we recover from the unprecedented impact of COVID-19."

Well, that's awkward.

Yeah right. Which means they will be down to a handful of stores.

But CEO Shawn Lederman said in a court filing the company will permanently close 185 restaurants that had shut their doors during the coronavirus pandemic. That leaves the chain with 236 company-owned and operated locations, as well as an undisclosed number of locations run by 10 franchisee groups.

It's a blow but it needs to be done. We'll probably be able to see if it'll continue to collapse with a few years.

Last time I ate at one was 2007, only recall that because wife was pregnant, and it was in NC... the smoking section was an imaginary line between our table and the next one.

Haven't been locations near me in many years. This town HATES chain restaurants. Pisses me off that I have to drive to get a good Applebees steak. ;-)

I do recall thinking they were okay? Hate to hear it.

I remember the one in Lakeside Mall where PF Chang's is now. That was a long time ago in Metry.

Sad on so many different levels to see so many businesses go under and so many people lose their livelihood. 2020 is the fricking worst. RIP delicious potato salad.
