Supply/demand.

I still have a bunch that I'll use when getting in/out of my truck at truck stops because those places are f'ing nasty - I've seen enough at those places and had that shite stocked in my truck before the madness broke out two years ago.

Me too. Another good use for it if you have excess, is to rub on inside of your legs if you get chafed. Good to know with warm weather coming

Finished 4 more rounds of chemo over the last 4 months, (2 of which were high dose which was essentially an entire round per day for 3 days), finished the stem cell transplants. I've been in the strict quarantine for the last month since finishing the last transplant but during my doc visit yesterday he cancelled all of the future blood work appointments and let me go back to the normal chemo protocols meaning I can go places when they're not busy and go visit family/friends again. I'll find out the results of the next pet scan/brain mri at the end of the month. If all looks well I was told I may be able to go back to work in early May instead of late June!

I have a pack of qtips in the door of my truck that I use as a stylus essentially to process cards at the pump with. Truckers have to complete a five minute interrogation every time they just want to fill up diesel so those number pads are just plain nasty. I started using those years before covid and it cut down on the amount of illnesses I had to deal with during cold/flu season.

God bless the IT team at Love's Travel Stops for giving a remote start option from the app, giving the ability to input information on our phones rather than having to use those keypads with the people who haven't showered in a week. I wish Pilot/Flying J would do the same but they still require a remote start code to be entered on the pump for authorization.

Great news man. Good luck on your continued success.

I had a PET scan a few weeks ago, and no cancer was found anywhere but in the tumor in my rectum. But the radiologist did note that an adjacent lymph node didn't show up as cancer, but looked suspicious. I'm doing chemo, (oral, not infusion) and radiation. So far the only side effect I have is fatigue.

But what I'm going through sounds like child's play compared to you.

Remember back when you couldn’t find hand sanitizer, TP, or Clorox wipes? I’d also like to know how much the average person spent on those stupid disposable masks.

Its rough, it really is. Give your body the rest it needs while going through it but once it's over you definitely will want to get out and exercise. Those bags of cisplatin and etoposide have wrecked my endurance over the last year - used to jog 15+ miles a week and now I can barely handle walking for 30 minutes. Bought a new pair of New Balance 880's this week and I'm determined to get back to jogging before I hopefully go back to work

Same here. I wore a neck gaiter when I had to wear one in the hospital or urgent care facilities. Think about all those masks that got trashed and entered the waterways, but hey, we’re phasing out of plastic straws.
