your almost 40 year old son still ask you for money?
He's asked to borrow money four times since he left college, paid it back promptly every time, and the last two times were due to him being overseas and having problems with a debit card, so I got paid back within days.

his debit card was turned down at the Paris airport because his bank didn't know he was out of the country,
why didnt he just call his bank and tell them to lift the block?

Wait he had issues twice overseas??
Wouldn't one learn after the first time "hey maybe I should call my bank and let them know I'm going overseas"

They were two different issues. One was that his debit card was blocked, the other was that money he transferred from overseas didn't get deposited into his account in the US soon enough to cover an automatic debit for a bill. Both times I got paid back quickly. He had the money, it just wasn't accessible at the moment.

I don't have a 40 year old son at all. I have a 36 year old son who last asked to borrow money when he was maybe 32, and that got paid back within days.

I have a question. Why can't grown adults learn how to sneeze and not sound like a crazy maniac?

That's cool...I just wanted to see if you'd remember answering the other multiple times that question was asked.
i kid...I kid.
