I remember skinning bull-frogs alive as a kid and placing them in rubbing alcohol.
Couldn't imagine doing that today, but as a kid, you are oddly ruthless, esp a young bored boy living in the middle of nowhere.

That’s pretty much how we clean frogs now. Take them out the cage, chop it’s head off to kill it, then skin it then cut the legs off.
Then batter up and throw in hot grease.

Yeah, I love knocking them out, esp as a kid.
We used to harvest 150-200 chickens per year as a kid, it was to be the best day of the year. All my friends (yes I once had friends) would come over to get a chance to cut some heads off chickens.
