ETA: BTW, totally failed at doing nothing today
And I hate missing goals.

Enjoying the afternoon sunlight (my favorite time of the day) with vodka and tonics so the day is not a total fail.

ETA2: Does everyone give Trimmie their shirts?

Yes. It’s how I get my clothes. Sunday’s are for doing nothing; haven’t you heard?!

Good evening, Bullfrog. Girls love a guy's shirt. I used to send shirts that I would wear to court that started to fray at the cuffs of along the button line to a friend with whom I went to law school. She used them as smocks for painting. I'm sure Brooks Brothers forgave me.

Plus, a girl looks good in a white dress shirt with little or nothing else on.

My fave nightshirt. Hey, Iona! Lawyers never give away their shirts to court reporters. Well, until they pay those transcript fees.

You have good taste.

The most remarkable court reporter I ever met was a man who was in wonderful shape and in his 70s when I was a very young lawyer in 1978.

He took the deposition with a steno pad and the most remarkable and beautiful fountain pens (the ones which sucked up ink not the cartridge type). He was a court reporter at the Nuremberg trials. A wonderful person!

So impressive. There are still a few of those around today. Now it’s all wireless steno machines and real time instant translation to your phone. I can barely keep up!

It is amazing how far the court reporting business has come since I started practicing law in 1978. It's a wonderful profession and I we couldn't be successful without you!
