I can't argue with that... I got where I am with a spoon, fork and my hand in the snack bags.

Putting those utensils down and throwing away the snacks hasn't taken off the weight as easily nor as quickly as Input it on.

Had I it to do over.. I wouldn't let this happen. But I am where I am- by my own fault- and have more sympathy to others because of it.

True.

My weight gain exploded over 9mo... and I've been struggling to correct it much longer than that.

Ok, now what?"

That is a tough thing to face

GLP’s can cause pancreatitis, bowel obstruction, and gastroparesi.

Cardiologists are not GI experts so they can STFU.

Hell yeah it is!

I'm working on it, though.. actually having a friendly competition with my mom- natural vs shots. I have the benefit of age, she has the benefit of the shot. I know I'll probably lose but the competition is fueling us both in a positive way to take better care of our bodies and overall health.

Well, since most Americans are fat they pay most of the premiums as well as the tax dollars…so there’s that.

They lost all credibility when I watched that video of them lobbying to keeps candy and sugary sodas in food stamps. I’m not even saying that’s wrong, but it’s borderline criminal for a cardiology org to be saying that.

The fact GLP-1s piss off the OT so much is hilarious.

No they don't !!

I've been taking them for a while, at first I kept doing the same thing as before and all they did were make me feel sick, you can't drink "any" alcohol.

Once I got serious and started fasting from 2 pm to 7 am daily, stopped ALL alcohol, walking 2 miles a day, and lifting 2-3 times a week . I'm down 70 lbs since 1-20-2023

These therapies are destroying people’s gallbladders because they’re being started on too high a dose or titrated up too quickly.

If you choose to use them start slow and if you start having GI issues talk to your doctor immediately.

ALL alcohol? shite... that might be why my weight loss is so slow. Do you ever mix in a longer fast?

They are telling you to take a drug and stop exercising.

Anyone not suspicious of this deserves what they get.

This is most people’s problems.

They don’t realize the empty calories they are taking in from mixed drinks etc.

I eat a big breakfast and a moderate lunch around 1-2 pm then try not to eat again until the next morning.

If I get hungry I eat some sugar free beef jerky or fruit in the evening.

This is just what I found works for me, the no alcohol part was tough bc I love beer but sure do feel better in the mornings without it. I found that if I drank one night I would not lose any weight for 2 weeks following.

I weigh every morning at the same time and have a scale/app to track my progress.

Not possible since we have never had anyone reach “9” status on the OT.
You know damn well they top out at 8.5 here…

Trannies and fatties are a recurring lifetime income stream for big pharma.

It is so diabolical that is it impressive.

My husband told me ditching booze would boost my weight loss... I need to sit down and get serious with myself, I guess.

I just don't *wanna*... I already gave up so much with food, quit smoking and I feel like evening drinks is my last little 'fun' thing. I'm tired of being chonky though. *sigh*

I am very interested in magic being real. If you have any information on a body being able to create matter from nothing, I trully want to know about it.

We could rub it in the face of every physicist on the planet.

"frick you and you gay arse math! Magic is real, science bitch!"

A lot of people (me included) cannot lose weight while drinking alcohol. When I'm trying to lose weight, I rarely have more than 1 drink a week and sometimes not even that. If I have more, I probably do not lose anything that week and spend the next week trying to get back to where I was. Alcohol is empty calories and a some drinks have a lot of calories. Drink beverages with no calories and eat your calories with nutritious foods. That's the best way to lose weight. Much easier said than done.

This saddens me as I do love my spritzers. I think I'll try like a two or three week break from my drinking and see where it lands me- If I can tell myself it's just a break hopefully I won't feel as deprived.
