So are you going to explain it to me? You made it sound so simple but then you tell me to google?
Also, you talk about thousands of years? How do you know? Who recorded that data? Who recorded it just 200 years ago?
This is the problem with your science. Your taking the result you want and twisting what is almost 100% incomplete data to fit your result and making worldwide proclamations based off that.
The true science is almost non existent. It takes more faith to believe in man made climate change than it does to believe in God. It’s a religious affiliation just like every other religion. The only difference is most religions will claim they rely on faith.

This always fascinates me. What's the motivation to manipulate data to suggest carbon impacts climate? If it's money, then I'm pretty sure the bigger pay checks are on the debunking side. And it can't be job security, the current administration is fighting publication of this research. So what's the reason?

This shows your ignorance on the subject. Most “studies” are funded by a political or industrial organization needing a specific result. Many have been exposed. Typical scenario is said Dept gets a grant looking for said cause/effect. Study manipulates data and confirms desired cause/effect in order to ensure future funding to keep employment. This has been exposed numerous times.
