I think work-from-home is all dependent on the requirements of the job.
In my last job, we were four days a week in the office, but I didn't complain because we were doing a bunch of work where it was necessary for us to be there in person.
At my current job, they're taking away the hybrid days/flexibility, but the job itself can easily be done where we would only need to be in the office one day a week.
That's why there's so much frustration in my office regarding the decreasing WFH flexibility....because the job itself doesn't require it beyond one day a week.

I returned to the office two weeks after I left it in April 2020.
So did I. We had to keep business moving and they asked for volunteers to help the secretaries scan and e-distribute mail in our department. I raised my hand.

SOBs would dial in from their desks on Teams, even when I booked a meeting room 30 feet from the furthest office.
That’s some irritating arse shite. If you’re in the actual same building and there’s a conference room book, get your arse in there in person.

I once worked on a project where they provided lunch for the workers. Every day you had a choice of two different items. One day it would be like beef stew or hamburger. Lasagna or some type of poboy. IMO thats the best thing a company can do. Offer lunch to its employees. You don't have to pack a lunch, you don't have to go out and spend money on picking up something
