Ford Bronco Owners Asked to Return to Dealerships Again, This Time Over Front Driveshafts

quote:

Ford Bronco owners are being asked to bring their trucks to the dealer yet again, this time for a problem related to the truck's front driveshaft boot. This "Customer Satisfaction Program," as Ford calls it, will impact every Bronco model that was built between September 23, 2020 and September 17, 2021, regardless of the SUVs powertrain configuration
.

quote:

According to the document, Broncos built within the aforementioned timeframe may experience cracking on their front driveshaft boots as a result of the materials used in their construction. These cracks can allow water or other material to reach the CV joint, ultimately wearing the component prematurely. This can result in a noisy or vibration-laden driving experience.

Bronco owners have to tolerate even more issues than the average Ford driver. It’s looker of a vehicle and a very creative design, but they are clearly huge pieces of shite.

Is it a bronco or a truck?

Broncos have two doors. Explorers have 4.

Damn. Who woulda thunk that so many downvote queers have bought these frilly Explorers with Bronco insignia on them? Apparently their panties are bunched up aboot it, and They like their little girly ride to Monkey-pox city.

Buying a new vehicle the first year it’s made is stupid.

I was told on this very board that the new Bronco was a Jeep killer.

Toyota should just update the FJ Cruiser and steal most of the sales.

Ford fanboys said that.

The Wrangler is still wildly popular. And far more reliable.

I can get a refurbed real deal 70’s model bronco for 25-30k. Granted that price point might come with some repairs but my investigation tells me it’s got a lot of new parts for that price. I’m not sure why anyone would buy the new model for 50k.

You might get your wish. Allegedly, they’ve taken notice of the Bronco and Maverick’s popularity and are working on competitors for around 2024-2026
