Very debatable.

The infrastructure for domestic production doesn't disappear over night.

The Arabian producers have made it very clear that they will keep prices low to protect their market share, but they will only be able to keep posting deficits for so long.

I sure hope you're right.

I think $2.50-$3 would be a reasonable price. I love paying $1.75 but understand the implications in the long term.

$2 seems to be the perfect price. It's when it creeps over the 2.25 range that I start to cringe at the pump. Obviously I love where it's at right now.

Yeah, worst case I'm seeing is that gas spikes back to 3+ in the next up cycle. I just get a break in the meantime.

I'm not sure where this nightmare scenario of Saudi Arabia bankrupting everybody and then making us pay 7 bucks at the pump is coming.

But are you going to have the money, be willing to spend it or is the bank going to be willing to lend it?

What's the best way to get Yeti stickers off of glass? Just got a sweet deal on an F250.

You could be laid off by then.

Lots of people are getting laid off right now.

A lot.

Should have gone with the Coleman, but instead went for the Yeti. I always ensure I can make house and car payments with two minimum wage jobs.

To me, $2.25-2.50 I think that is the happy middle where it doesn't hurt the pocket and also keeps the truck nut manufacturers in business.

I wouldn't be buliding a house if my industry was tanking with no sign of a rebound.

But hey, this is the kind of decision that keeps you employed.

I could jump into any industry out there doing exactly what I do now. I'm tied to oil and gas

Maybe those trashy fricks shouldn't have bought 4000 sf houses with garages big enough to fit their jacked up F250 with truck nuts.

You and hundreds of others.

Just saying, buliding might not be the best idea right now.

Maybe it is. I'd be sitting on cash as opposed to figuring out ways to spend it.

THIS. I tried to get some renovations done in late 2014 and the builders practically laughed in my face because they were so busy. One of the guys that didn't even want to bid on the job told me last week he is looking to get a "normal" job now because he can't get any work. I am going to give it a few months and have those builders come back and look at the job again. Especially the a-hole that bid it for three times what it should have cost. Can't wait to hold their feet to the fire just like they tried to do to me.
