First prostate exam

I'm at the age where they are recommending i get prostate checked out. is it weird to search out female dr for this? i just can't let a dude go there

do a blood PSA test first and then a digital exam to confirm if the test results are abnormal

The exam isn't weird. It's fairly quick and easy. Whats weird is having to wipe the lube off your arse hole right there in the room with the Dr. when they are done.

It’s pretty normal for a man to get erect or even climax during the exam.

Depends on what she looks like!
Butt..
Gotta get it done. Can lead to prostate cancer. I've had all sorts of problems with enlarged prostates, high PSA scores etc. Not something you mess with.

Most Docs will just do a PSA blood test…usually lumped in with your other labs.

Go to your GP and ask for a PSAT Blood test. Now days, they usually do that instead of a finger up the butt exam.
My dad. and his brother has Prostate cancer. I have my PSAT done every 6 months. Only a needle stick in the arm. Not unpleasant at all.
If you insist, there are likely Orinetal Massage places that have women who will do what you want down there. See news reports about such places all the time. You might also be able to run an ad on Craig's List and find a lady willing to do your exam.
