Back in the 80s I worked at a small grocery store and a customer became irate b/c we didn't have whatever the frick it was he needed. Probably in his 30s at the time. He pushed me in the side of my head when I wasn't looking, I was maybe 17. I turned around and shoved him in the face not realizing management was already coming down the aisle seeing the whole incident. Thankfully they saw him push me as there were no cameras in store back then. I got scolded but not fired. He got banned from the store.
