Hmmm, Cornell professor criticizes the police, the Christian churches, and other financial institutions for failing to help common poor black people.
In the interim, a drive by shooting injures two teenagers, a group of "protesters" breaks into a local business, steals the cash register and dumps it in the parking lot, a reporter is beaten and robbed while covering the "peaceful protests" and officers return fire after one of Mike Browns friends opens fire on them near the protest site.
Ferguson is a shite hole. Was driving up in North County the other day and was astounded by the sheer volume of litter and trash just thrown on the side of the road. But, again, it's everyone else's fault that their neighborhood is a filthy mess, not the residents of NorCo St. Louis.

You do know Ferguson is in the Midwest....right? It's actually north of St. Louis. It's a shorter distance to Chicago than it is to Birmingham.

Right. I forgot how "peaceful" the Boston riots were, when they were instituting the bussing of black students to white schools. Those white Bostonians were good baws, excercising their first amendment rights.

They need to do it like the Koreans did during the LA riots. Koreans setup camp around their businesses with high powered rifles and made sure there wasn't any funny business for their properties.

Apparently the Ferguson Action Council planned yesterday to be a silent march, and August 10th (today) to be a "Day of Civil Disobedience"

Considering yesterday was the day of silent observance, and a gunfight broke out, reporter was robbed, and a store burglarized, I imagine today's "civil disobedience" will be must see TV.
