I was at a gas station in Harahan, LA and the white lady cashier called the cops on me and my cousin as soon as we walked in. We were only 12 years old, but we were frisked and the cops found nothing. My parents were notified and they immediately understood what just happened. Talk about an awkward convo that a parent has to have with a confused 12 year old. So what was I supposed to do then?
So what? I was pulled over when I was 17 for nothing more than being out after midnight. I was stopped at a red light in my moms pos minivan with the windows down and the radio loud. The cop was a dick about it too. I said yes sir, no sir and he followed me home and we all went on with our lives.

You think this never happened to white boys? Come off it. You're clueless.
That's not the point. The point is, a simple situation like that could get a black boy killed and then he would get mercilessly slandered in the media. That's something that probably doesn't cross a white kids mind.

Oh jesus Christ. The histrionics are out of control. You were in no danger of being "killed".
You wonder why no one takes you seriously?

dumb. I was taught that their fuse is automatically shorter with me than it would be with a white person, and thats due to American history.
Also just wanted to point out this insanely ridiculous sentence.

I love it
Story for you: me and 2 of my white friends were standing by a car in the French Quarter at around 11 pm one night.
A cop car passes by us and does a u turn. My friend said "get ready to be harassed guys." Sure enough the cops pulled up and ordered us to.put our hands in the car in front of us. They frisked us for weapons and told us to leave after they found out we were from out of town.
So there ya go. Cop's are a-hole in general.

You are lucky you were not killed.

When did you die and get slandered? You should report it to the police

I think the majority of America could get behind a movement dealing with police brutality, but the BLM movement, in the view of the majority of America, loses all credibility for several reasons:
1. That somehow #blacklivesmatter only counts when whitey does the killing. Where are the protests and outrage and blocking of interstates for the 20 people shot in Chicago this past weekend? Nowhere. Because it doesn't bring in money.
2. The BLM movement picks the wrong cases to get behind. The Mike Brown case was the wrong case. A better case to bring attention would have been the murder in South Carolina.
3. The immediate dismissal of the #alllivesmatter phrase. The rejection screams racism.
4. The destruction and violence and looting that erupted in Baltimore and Ferguson. Nothing says "we're oppressed" like burning down their own neighborhoods and ransacking businesses.
Can you at least admit that you understand why some people would be reluctant to support the BLM movement?

Mercilessly slandered? Like Michael Brown in his graduation gown? The media has given false hopes by race baiting. They reported in a way to spark outage for ratings.

You are a pussy and if your mom read this she would agree
Posted on 8/12/15 at 12:29 am to SupGirl
Just remember that everything bad that happens to you is due to your skin color. After all, that's the lesson your mom taught you, right?

Ok, if this is the collective thinking of the black community, I would think y'all would be extra fricking careful around the 5-0 right? Wrong. You have fricking black teenagers spraying a fricking AK-47 into a crowded playground in broad daylight. Or shooting up a Mother's Day gathering. Or shooting a father and son in a home invasion gone terribly wrong. The fricking father was shot sitting in his chair. All whitey though bruh.

No, it wouldn't. And the media with their ratings would do the exact opposite. They're slandering good people's names and glorifying the idiots for $$$.

Asians are fine in America. Internment camps, gold rush slavery, unequal opportunity, Angel Island (or is it the other one?), stereotyping, etc. but they've somehow managed to turn that around and become a positive part of society.
You're really going to compare how Asians were treated in America vs how black people were treated? We got it worse because we had leaders like MLK and Malcolm X who had enough and decided to speak up (which got them killed). The government didn't like it when we pushed back so they fricked with us more, the same way most of you don't like it in here and I understand :)

No you don't. That would require personal responsibility and individual thinking
Posted on 8/12/15 at 12:38 am to SupGirl
The difference is that Asians have up the victim card a long time ago.
Black America revels in the victim role. It brings more free shite with it.

Well good luck with all of that. You be angry your whole life blaming everyone of a different race for all your woes. Maybe the next generation of African Americans will "Get it"
Imagine the immediate positive impact on your communities if you all made a concerted effort to stop the violence in your community? Just that one thing would bring about a cascade of change. Nope, you are to worried about following your false prophets like Sharpton and Jackson that are more interested in propping up the status quo because the way things are is "good for business".
Yeah, again, good luck with all of that. When you are ready to meet in the middle and start making some fricking changes internally let me know, until then, IDGAF...sorry.

BLM is a movement against police brutality. It doesn't make sense when you try to bring black on black crime into it because that's a completely different issue. And yes, All Lives Matter is a dumb point and it deflects away from our main point. WE ALREADY KNOW THAT ALL LIVES MATTER. BUT WE FEEL LIKE OUR LIVES DONT MATTER IN THIS COUNTRY. SO WE HAVE TO REMIND PEOPLE THAT THEY DO MATTER. How hard is that to understand??? We aren't treated like our lives matter, unless you're famous or an athlete. The rappers and the rest of us expendable. It's TRADITION in this country and thats why most of you hate to hear anyone speak against it.
Tell me...when has black life ever mattered in this country? Tell me when and I'll call you a damn liar.
