You are getting two places mixed up. There is a place in Livingston Parish. It has nothing to do with the one in Rapides Parish. As of now I believe it is a place for people to go during a natural disaster. I am sure it could have other more sinister uses as well.

I thought that after Katrina, FEMA and the affected states decided to pre-stage supplies, trailers, high water vehicles etc. at places close to the areas that are most likely to be affected by another severe hurricane. I seem to remember that the govt. was buying up some land around Baton Rouge to create these storage depots for emergency response reasons.
I think they decided after the Katrina/New Orleans fiasco that they couldn't afford to be so paralyzed again. That's probably what this "facility" is.

The UN has trouble dealing with West Africans who are poorly armed and can't shoot for shite. I'd love for a foreign army to try coming to this country, especially in a place like Livingston.

Maybe the NWO or whoever the frick has a plan to try this shite but they've got something else coming. The number of licensed deer hunters in the state of Wisconsin alone would equate to the 8th largest army in the world, all well-armed and pretty damn accurate.

There cannot be concentration camps in America! The public would never stand for it.

Locking up a single, small minority in the 1940s and dealing with the entire population in present day are two very different things.

Also, internment camp =/= concentration camp. The Japanese people were not mistreated on a wide scale.

Has anyone ever denied the existence of Internment camps during WWII? I'm pretty sure The US even went so far as to apologize to the Japanese people for doing.

This is what's behind gun control. They don't really give a shite about some whacko shooting up a movie theatre, other than using it to further their political agenda.

It doesn't matter what they try to do with gun control. We have the guns already and if they ever attempted to take them it would be a modern-day Battle of Gonzales.

And the hunter brigade is no match for satellites, armor and battlefield technology and training. I'd say it would be worse than militias of times past going up against regulars. One well placed artillery barrage and simply because people aren't accustomed to that kind of hell, and wouldn't have communication or cohesiveness and leadership, they would scatter with the quickness.

You do realize that there are still many people alive today who went through the process of internment, right?

George Takei, the flaming homosexual who was on Star Trek has a play about it on Broadway, right now.

This place? This is the one referenced in the YouTube video that claims it is in Livingston Parish.

The airbase to the west, Camp Livingston on the lower right side. This is NOT in LP. What are you referring to now?
