F’ed up thought. What if we stopped all testing under all circumstances?

I think everyone would be better off. But smarter people than me know what they are doing.

what exactly do you think the positives outcomes of this are?
Posted on 11/12/20 at 7:20 pm to jimlsu1
Would probably increase spread. Which would increase deaths.
The death rate, even if it is .00001, will remain the same. So more people get it more people die.

I remember my first wine cooler

There would be no more cases. Trumps already thought of this. Dems shut it down

This statement in general, I agree with.

Not really a fricked up thought.
It is what they are doing in Taiwan:

I'd prefer to stop volunteering info.
"Have you been in contact with anyone with Covid?"
Nope.
"Have you been in contact with anyone exposed to Covid?"
Nope.
"Been around crowds, public transport, hot spots?"
Nope.
"Would you consent to a Covid screening?"
Nope.
"Would you tell us if you were lying about any of the above?"
Lol. Nope.

Stopping all testing is dumb but we really do have way too much testing
Getting tested when you don't have any symptoms is dumb as shite

no testing, no positives. smart thinking. Very Trump-ian of you.

I agree with you but by now people know the risks and their own risks. Stop all testing and let people be responsible for their own care.
Let all sports play, stadiums be full, schools open and businesses operate normally. Masks totally optional.
Let the chips fall where they may.
I honestly believe we would be better off than where we are heading.

My 80 father lives with us. I've had to non two covid illnesses with similar symptoms (common cold, flu) so I tested twice just to make sure.

I used to think that. Not anymore. Which is sad and scary.

Yes, sticking your head in the sand is always the best course of action.

Sticking your head in the sand for a case of a mild flu is hardly being evasive.

The only benefit, if at all, of limitations and shutdowns are keeping too many people from getting it at once. Therefore keeping hospitals and medical resources under control so the ones who do get sick can get treatment. However, I still don’t really get the point. If your body can’t fight it off with vitamins and rest then there’s a good chance you were never gonna fight it off anyway.
