Boyfriend looks to have gone bald really early in life. High likelihood he’s a killer

He absolutely killed her. His lawyers’ best hope is that a body is not found and they have a lower chance of conviction without a body.

I agree. They got into an argument, he flew into a rage, killed her, hid the body in the wilderness and fled. His story will be---they got into an argument, she got mad, left with another group of people (van gypsies) and he hasn't seen her since. Praying, he hid her body well enough to never be located.

They need to put thumbscrews on that fricker until he tells them everything he knows. Girl is still missing and he just cruises home and lawyers up? That’s bullshite.

In Jackson Wyoming, in September, you would need a heavy blanket.

Exactly! The lawyer could be a go between for the police, and he could give them all the information they need to help them in their investigation. This would provide a level of protection for the boyfriend, while helping the police. If he's not doing that, then he is guilty of something.

Correct. If she was just missing, he would at least inform someone unless he's a total autist.

She isn't missing. He knows where the body is.

I’m not pretty dumb. I’m actually pretty smart. As you can now see from the released statement, it appears that he left her somewhere. That’s the only fact we know.

Is he a piece of shite? Yes! Is there more to the story? Yes!

Do we know what happened? No!

Any prosecutor will tell you it’s hard to prove murder if there isn’t a body. Until she’s found, this guy isn’t going to be charged with murder or any significant crime other than taking her vehicle. I’m not sure if the family has thought that though. If you wanted to apply pressure, you charge him with stealing the vehicle. That gets him in a position to speak about how ended up with her vehicle and her being lost.

She's dead, he's guilty.

No one would clam up if she is just "missing."

Giving cops the power to torture? I'm sure that won't be abused.

On the advice of counsel, the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment."

Yeah...

He killed her.

Maybe he just left her...kicked her out the van and just rolled out. He could at least just tell someone where he left her so, at least tell them that she was alive when he left her.

But until he does that it's safe to assume he killed her

Provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

I’m not defending this guy by any means. We have a legal system that requires a certain level of proof before a person can be convicted. It looks like this guy probably premeditated what he was going to do. It’s going to be hard to convict him until she’s found.

I'm not a lawyer but I don't think that's the case at all. Is it really her vehicle? If you return home to Florida from Wyoming in someone else's vehicle without them and clam up, there's likely something you will be charged of if not just criminal mischief, Providing False information to Police, etc.

ETA: If anything, is it not Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle? If it was her car, she has been missing, and he drove it 1000s of miles without her? Certainly they should at least arrest his arse for it.

This is my guess, she "fell" somewhere. If he was smart and killed her he could have thrown the body off somewhere. Many areas to pull of the side of the road in a vehicle to do that in that area.
