Only a moron would be less comfortable with a kid alone with a teacher in a Catholic school vs. a LGBTQ teacher in a public school.

The truth is that his comment was meant to attack the Catholic Church. And, there is certainly room for that attack.

It didn't matter to him that the argument made no sense, ridiculously conflated school teachers with clergy, and ignored the realities of the threat that these LGBTQ public school teachers pose.

A lot of people are simple thinkers.
