Mr. Cook
That was my favorite place for a baked potato.
I even remember going to birthday parties and playing hot potato.
Those we're the days.

Pedro’s on Highland at 2:01 am.
Dragon Hall Chinese buffet near where Kinko’s is/was. Cans of Bud and Bud Light for a quarter when they ran that special and a self serve soft serve machine.
Pump’n Station Poboys in Tigerland. $5 would get you a roast beef poboy that could defeat any hangover.
Danny’s Fried Chicken or a burger at the lunch counter of the Morgan & Lindsay store in the Bogue Falaya mall, both in Covington.

Almost forgot...Mamma Bravas in Cortana mall
I remember this one, but I don't have a single memory of us actually eating here.
I remember plenty Ruby Tuesday, Mandarin Express, and Taco Bell visits in Cortana Mall though. Chick Fil A too.

There was an A & W root beer drive in in Laffy that we would stop at when we visited my grandmother. They had big, cold mugs of root beer and a great hamburger. Haven't seen an A&W in years.

The original Crawford's in Denham Springs in the strip center not the one where Don's is now. Mr. Crawford would tell jokes.
