I think Piccadilly may be on its last leg. They didn't rebuild their newest BR area location after the flood (Denham Springs on Range).

I remember going to the one at Bonne Marche with my mother and grandmother when I was little. They'd take me to Goudchaux's on Florida Street downtown to get my picture taken with Santa, Easter Bunny, etc. If I behaved I got pudding at Piccadilly.

Not a restaurant but Ramer's BBQ Beef sandwich was the bomb. RIP.

J&Js Steakhouse in Beaumont. Growing up, we would go there after church sometimes and I celebrated probably 10 birthdays there.





It also had a display of intricate wood carvings of the history of the world the owner worked on in his spare time.

Spinosa's Seafood on Bayou Manchac after watching the races at Dutchtown. Thin fried catfish and curley-q's. I think Mr Spinosa cooked at one of the country clubs after his restaurant closed.

Oh wow! I loved that place! There was one near Navarre Beach in the 70's - maybe it was in Ft Walton. We looked forward to eating there every beach trip.
