Fauci says vaccine won’t stop transmission

Then why would the vaccine be mandated - as may be required by many businesses like airlines?
If it prevents the individual from getting it, then that’s a personal decision.
Of course the virus without a vaccine has a 99.8% survival rate

Oh look, a thread that hasn't been discussed 372 times in the past year.

Nice link. Was this a recent statement?

The idea is to lessen the effects of the virus but his statement confirms that it will not stop the transmission of the virus. Masks are here to stay for a little while.

Why do we still acknowledge the breath that leaves his lying face hole?

Give the guy a break. He had been practicing on a little league mound.
And we all know that little league mounds are off center by about 10 feet.

It's insane that both these administrations let a complete tunnel-vision dweeb like Fauci just give stream-of-consciousness thoughts to the media on a daily basis.
The guy speaks recklessly and in indefinite/speculative terms all the time and markets, the public, etc. all react accordingly.

You mean weaken the virus?
How can you weaken the virus if everyone is staying home and wearing mask?
Wouldn’t you want people out there spreading the virus so it weakens?

Its common sense that it doesnt stop transmission. Think about it. It lives in your nose so you wont be affected but its still there and you could give it to people and if they arent vaccinated they could get sick.

Pfizer and Moderna are gathering more evidence about whether vaccinated people can still spread the virus. WSJ Noted. The Covid-19 vaccines authorized in the U.S. are approximately 95% effective at preventing people from getting sick with symptoms, according to Pfizer and Moderna, the companies that produce them.

See below copy from WSJ. He’s also been on the networks saying the same.
