I’d venture to say that much of the CDC statistics ignore looking deeper into their scenarios than just Race.
This is much like the argument that woke make significantly less than men the $0.78 to the Dollar BS stat ignored the types of jobs and accounted for unpaid maternity leave and in some cases counted stay at home moms as zero. The real gap for single men and women was like $.98 to a dollar.
Now look at disparate healthcare ignore that ~21% of blacks live below the poverty line compared to 8% of whites. Gee I wonder where that 2-3 x more likely to suffer complications comes in.
