Do people really fall for this?
Buy one bottle and send it to a friend, and receive 6-20 bottles in return!
The logistics are silly. If there are 20 people and each person buys 1 bottle, it’s Impossible for everyone to receive more than 1. I’m amazed at some of the people that are sharing this again this year.

Me and my Alumni for 2005-8 have have a liquor exchange Christmas party since school and I always buy a nice Irish Whiskey, I’m tired of my cabinets getting filled with Crown or whatever glasses that accompany a bottle.

I don't see how you are confused here. We do this every year here. There is a thread you can search to enter on the food board. You send me or another user a bottle of whiskey and 25 users send you one. Send me something in the $100 range and watch how it works.
