I don't do the automatic draft. I was referring to the online bill paying software from Enter

This wasn't automatic draft, either. I don't trust any utility to do automatic draft.

Every month around the first, I log into the Entergy website and pay the bill (it's due around the 10th-11th). Every month, for 8 plus years, I have done this without issue.

When they changed systems, I had to set up a new user id and password. The first month, logged in and paid bill online, no issues. Second month, that's where the issue was. Third month (October), no issues. Fourth month (November), no issues so far.

I'm kind of ok with them having one issue in 8 years, a month after them changing systems.

I'm not ok with their option for resolution - check in 45 days or credit for next month.

It doesn't hurt me financially, but for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, having an extra $120 taken out unexpected, and having it tied up for a month, that can hurt. Thanksfully it was more of an annoyance to me, but for others, that can be a big deal.

Entergy, you kick arse, thank you.

For that, they could charge $10 or $15 a month. I really don’t care.

Heck, I’d pay an extra $50 a month if it meant they started putting crap underground

During Katrina, I worked for 21 days straight at East Jefferson hospital. Then, I was at my sister's house in Gretna for another 2 weeks who got power before mine finally came back on in Westwego.

My next Entergy bill was $400 even though a single light wasn't used for 5 weeks!
