Old news There needs to be an investigation of who released this so-called ‘information’ this week. There’s some evil at play and it’s not the Saints.
Well this is a take.

Todd Graves, please save us.

Sell? To what billionaire? Louisiana has Todd Graves and that’s it.

It really is becoming harder and harder every year to still be a Saints fan.
Take the leap off the fan bus, brother. You will be glad you did. I quit on the Saints after 40 years of fandom when Drew Brees' black teammates publicly attacked him for whatever comments it was that he made during Covid that were so "demeaning" to them, and I haven't looked back.
I just refuse to root for a group of blatant assholes, with Michael Thomas being at the top of the list of players that drove me away.
It is actually more fun now to root for players like Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, Justin Jefferson, etc. instead of teams

Tillman Fertitta, the owner of the Rockets, said in December that he wants to buy the Saints
Don't know how that would work with the Pelicans but there would be buyers

As a devout Catholic, we should be rounding up the priests guilty of pedophilia and hang them in front of St. Peter's basilica. Get these predators out of our Church once and for all

Wrong...

I thought this was all common knowledge.

Don’t really care if this shite is true to this extent man. If she cant sell to someone who will keep the team there now, I don’t see how she could when she dies in the future.

I definitely took a bit of a step back when that shite happened but still kept rooting for them for old times sake. There's just nothing at all redeeming or giving me confidence that this franchise has anything other than more pain and suffering for it's fans.
I married into a Redskins family and dammit that is a fun as shite team to watch.......and they have $80 in cap space to work with this offseason instead of the other way around.

Correct me if I’m wrong but they didn’t have any of these specifics included in the past right?

You don't have to be from the state to the buy the NFL team in that state.

There are some more details but this was all known before. They got a little more information to drop this on Super Bowl week.
I by no means agree with the Saints helping or anything else that happened but this story does not drop if the Super Bowl is in Las Vegas.

My point is that an outsider may not be compelled to keep the team in New Orleans. Especially with the Dome’s age (I realize there have been massive renovations). It would be an issue an outsider could leverage to move. I’d probably trust Fertitta more than anyone else just because of his business interests in Louisiana.

When are people going to learn that you do not write certain important correspondence down in emails or text messages.
Those communications always seem to come out in litigation despite the pleas of Attorney-Client privledge or private messages.
Next time just drive to a restaurant and have a discussion over coffee. That way there is no physical detailed record of the interaction, pay cash.
The only record may be a phone call between the two, but as long as it is not recorded could be disguised as something else like a donation call.
I am by no means advocating what the Diocese or the Saints management have done, to help shield pedoph!les, but in today's information age, you can leave too much of a paper trail.

Its worth the risk. The saints are going down the path of being an perennial joke. Something HAS to change.
