I’m confused. Is the insinuation here that people couldn’t DM terrible things to other people until now? I’m pretty sure that Twitter wasn’t screening DMs in real-time.

Typically contracts call for full vesting after a material change like an acquisition, not really cash and usually a quarter or so after. Unless it was negotiated as part of the buyout.
And the company is still publicly traded so CEO, CFO, Legal are all vital, unless Musk is going to do all the filings himself.

It amazes me how much liberals hate Freedom of Speech. It’s not going to be an alt right platform. He basically wants use the apply the same rules that protect the 1st Amendment. It also doesn’t surprise me because most liberals want to stifle any healthy debate.
