I mean to be fair to them, she’s a fricking witch who can ensnare people. Just show them a picture of what she looks like without her necklace:

"A lot of people just lost their jobs at Twitter and you're laughing? You're laughing!"
“I know! How about another joke, Gadde?”

So, all that means we can’t be happy Musk kicked those authoritarian commies to the curb and we can’t be happy they’re gone, ushering in freedom of speech (including for conservatives) on one of the largest social media platforms in the world? F you.

"Threatening to back out" is misleading. The contract he signed was iron clad. Buy Twitter at $53ish / share.
It was an act unbecoming of a 50 year old man. Every contract lawyer in America knew he had no chance to win. That's why the judge in Delaware moved this trial quickly to Nov rather than February (what Musk's lawyers wanted).
Hence this rush to buy before the trial started in deleware

Bingo. It’s not about the money for these folks. They aren’t going to laugh all the way to the bank. Money doesn’t buy happiness for them. They need to feel super-important and have their liberal ideals validated 24-7. They can start their own platform, but it won’t immediately reach billions of people, and they don’t have near the clout.

Do you think he will go through with his idea of charging 0.1 Doge per comment? This was found in his text messages related to the court case.

Alright this opening up of Twitter has taken an ugly turn for the worst. Some sick demented SOBs are apparently sending Taylor Lorenz sex requests via her DMs. Anyone who sends her requests like this doesn’t deserve a Twitter account because they have no taste or judgment in women.
I’m confused. Is the insinuation here that people couldn’t DM terrible things to other people until now? I’m pretty sure that Twitter wasn’t screening DMs in real-time.

I am sure all had nice golden parachutes.
I heard it was approximately $54.20 per share owned at the time of the freeze.
Typically contracts call for full vesting after a material change like an acquisition, not really cash and usually a quarter or so after. Unless it was negotiated as part of the buyout.
And the company is still publicly traded so CEO, CFO, Legal are all vital, unless Musk is going to do all the filings himself.

Elon responds to the loving account Catturd on shadow banning accounts:

genuine question, why does everyone care so much about this? is it because twitter banned trump?
It was ruled by a bunch of anti-free speech left wingers. They didn’t hide the fact that they banned free speech.
They banned a sitting US President, but allowed the Taliban to have an account.

Evita Gadde being fired does make me happy.
She'll be fine financially, but that nasty, filthy ego will be forever ruined.

Yep, her global strategy favored the middle east.
Many of these people from India have been contaminated by the Bengalese and their brand of communism.

In a letter posted to Twitter (TWTR), Musk said he doesn’t want the platform to become a “free-for-all-hellscape where anything can be said with no consequences,” despite his stated promise to rethink on its content moderation policies and bolster “free speech.”
Well you can't threaten to kill people and shite

It amazes me how much liberals hate Freedom of Speech. It’s not going to be an alt right platform. He basically wants use the apply the same rules that protect the 1st Amendment. It also doesn’t surprise me because most liberals want to stifle any healthy debate.

No. It is going private. He has said numerous times he is taking it private. It will be off of the NYSE soon

Why was Twitter being run by a bunch of Indians?

Whats ironic is Liberals were once the champions of free speech.
The progressive wing is anti liberal. They control the Democrat party now, they loathe free speech.

In retrospect, banning the Babylon Bee for a joke was about as good of an idea for Twitter executives as killing John Wick’s dog.
