So, we are the AI that's becoming self aware. Sweet.

It could explain Shirley McClain and others belief in reincarnation. We all know dejavu is merely a glitch when they change something. Punishment in the "real" world is playing North Koreans? What is real? How do you define real? You think that's air you are breathing now? There is no spoon.

Imagine that we are just characters being "played" by some other being in the true reality. Imagine that this "game" is so legit, that once the being starts playing it, its actual memory is temporarily erased or blocked so that they mentally truly become us. Imagine that when we "die," the game simply shuts off and the being is restored to normal and simply disconnects from the game system. Would that mean that we are actually the being, or are we just a virtual being with no physical connection to the being who is playing us? Imagine that the time to play our lifetime is really just a day or two in the being's realm. Imagine that the being who is playing us is actually just a video game character being played by someone else...

If true it is a boring arse game! No one would play it.
