It's on the peninsula formed where the Bogue Falaya and the Tchefuncte meet. A lot of properties are on one river or the other. Most people think it's a nice place to live. There are, of course, exceptions.

I couldn't sleep long due to a cough and the dead silence of no electricity. It's now 5 hours past the time when Cleco said it would be restored. I've been driving around charging my phone.

As I came back across the Causeway last night, driving through Mandeville on 190 north until to 22 was all pitch black. I couldn’t believe it was still out.

Shouldn’t Terrabella have its own power company?

Our bitch as politicians need to put pressure on Cleco. They weren’t prepared for this. The delays are from them being understaffed and not being proactive

Most days I hate entergy, but right about now I’m pretty glad I don’t have cleco. Y’all have somewhere you can go? Pioneer life has to be getting old.

Charter is still out here. Lazy bitches.

Anyone know if Whole Foods has power or that shopping area? About to drive from Folsom but don't want to waste a trip if they're out.

Got power last night but still no internets. Looks like we'll have to use the ol' antenna for the saints game. Is this how they lived in the old west?

No. It's the name of an actual part of town

No, it's a part of town. It's like saying Downtown Baton Rouge.
