I hate to be "that guy" but Gary just ranted about how his father was the strongest man he knows, and how he married his mother, and she died after giving birth to his younger brother. Then, goes on to say how he abandoned the family? That doesn't sound too great of a role model to me.

Gravy tries to portray himself as a community activist, when in reality he is a dyed in the wool racist. He doesn't want racial harmony and a united Baton Rouge. He promotes disharmony and racial tension because it serves his cause. He hates white people. Does he really want a city full of blacks, governed by blacks, policed by blacks, etc? If so, who is he gonna call racist then?

My guess is she couldn't make payments on the 75K.
So she created some sort of story in hopes of getting a gofundme or some sort of lawsuit.
