Is there some remedy that is out there that helps with this in kids? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Old school.

If thy ear offendeth thee, pluck it out.

Better to go through life without it than to offend thy Father in Heaven.

Do NOT let a pediatrician over prescribe antibiotics long term. It will frick up your kids teeth and lower their immune system. I feel for you and hope your kid gets relief. Ear infections suck.

We are on set number 2 of tubes for my son (a little over 2). He has had 9 ear infections. So tired of it. Hopefully, this set works better than the first ones.

Once they grow more the head grows the Eustachian tubes will drop more and drain whereas they are flat the younger they are. Or just have the surgery and have tubes put in. It’s the pressure that’s makes them uncomfortable

Ears grow. Tubes fall out.

Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours rotating for pain/discomfort. Do you have a dosage chart for babies/toddlers by weight?

Tubes, and do it fast. The hearing impairment during their constant ear infection in developmental ages also fricks up their speech development for life.

His actually was dislodged because of wax and was stuck to his ear drum. This caused another infection. They had to put in silicone tubes instead.

Just feel sorry for the little guy because any time he got any sort of congestion it instantly turned into an infection because his ears wouldn’t drain at all. The last month or so has been good with the new tubes.

Hopefully you get the answer you need.
