It says he posted a $50,000 bond and was released just this past Friday.
First of all, that’s not an insignificant bail amount.
Secondly, Did he miss court already? Maybe he was supposed to show up for bond supervision or something.

Yeah, the story kinda glossed over the key question. Why are they looking for him?
If this guy has any sense, he'll get a lawyer and either beat the charge or (more likely) adopt an extremely remorseful attitude and try to get the shortest prison stint possible. I don't see him running off to join the Foreign Legion.
