Don't throw beads at the Baby Kong float in Bacchus. Seriously.

The Mardi Gras Czar had it wrong when I wrote it was OK to hurl beads at Baby Kong in Bacchus when it rolls at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. It's against the law and a bad idea -- sort of like darting across the street through a marching band in mid-song or allowing your boyfriend to pull you up on his moving Tucks float.

I was just thinking the same thing. On the other hand, I wouldn't be throwing beads at Baby Kong because I'd be too busy trying to knock the beer out of the riders' hands, so mission kinda accomplished?
