Well I am traveling west on I 10 between Mobile and Pascagula and the eastbound traffic on 10 is stacked.

Don't look for it to lighten up any time soon.

I strongly suggest not driving anywhere. Special drivers are out in full force.

We must have made it through right before that happened.

Overturned 18 wheeler blocking the median across both lanes to the shoulder. Like the Evergreen blocking the Suez.

Happy Memorial Day!

Glad I went through there yesterday and not today.

Came back from the beach today and traffic was pretty thick the whole way. Waze ended up rerouting me off of I-12 down though Mandeville and back up 190 to 12.

Avoiding I-12 in general is a good philosophy. Get that Southern bypass to alleviate regional traffic on I-10 tho.

I’ve got zero snacks and half a bottle of water. I might not make it.

I do have tobacco.

Left BR at 4am and got to Nashville just after noon. Best decision ever, apparently.

I used to wonder how this type of thing happens so often.

But after driving between Houston and Baton Rouge several times over the last 9 months, I'm actually now surprised it doesn't happen MORE often.

18 wheelers are constantly swaying, swerving and not paying attention on the interstate.

Should always travel with emergency beef jerky and whiskey in the console.
