Massachusetts and Connecticut were doing some dirty tricks to increase their land claims.

Look how many football championships Georgia might have won if it remained like this.

And we probably still wouldn’t be winning them

I’m going to cry myself to sleep

Auburn University, The University of Georgia in Tuscaloosa, and Georgia Tech would still have existed.

The joke would have been that UGA is the 4th most recent program in their state to win a championship. And the fricking French and Spanish won’t give them a Gulf Coast port.

Not a whole state but Louisiana's "Florida Parishes" were the short-lived Republic of West Florida in 1810.

It's flag was a single white star on blue field.

Not the ones LSU won. Baton Rouge was not part of the Louisiana Purchase. The Florida Parishes (including EBR) gained independence from Spain as the Republic of West Florida and were then annexed by the U.S.

Saw a Republic of West Florida flag raised above the Louisiana flag with no USA flag at the Louisiana welcome center along east I-10 (photo is dated 12/15/19).

Louisiana was an independent country before it joined the Confederate States of America.

Independent La. had its own flag.
