3I see they are offering $25,000 sign on bonuses for nurses because they need people. Didn’t they fire a few hundred employees for not getting the vaccine last year?

Is LCMC no longer requiring a COVID-19 vaccine? They were when I worked there, along with a TB test, flu shot, etc.
Are no other hospital systems requiring vaccines? Seems odd to me that they wouldn't, even with all the negative publicity

Stand alone facilities or part of a system like Ochsner, LCMC, etc?
Maybe it's considered higher risk in an urban environment as opposed to a more rural setting. Or maybe staffing needs are harder to meet in rural areas. I don't know...
