I have the american standard vormax and a toto in our house. The vormax is by far the best toilet I've ever owned. Toto makes a version of this and I believe they came up with the design, but were 2x as expensive.

Don't you have to change to 1" pipes to do that...?

I came across one in a house once and I was shocked.
They had a hood vent for it and had a really large kitchen. Had a huge Vulcan oven too. An eight burner. They had a lot of kids like 9 or 10.

Then my favorite fridge set up. A full size Frigidaire fridge and a full size matching freezer with the trim kit to make it look like a more expensive unit.

Still in all I see Vulcan and commercial even TRUE coolers in houses. But only once have I seen a rack dishwasher in a house.

cost you about four grand though

when it flushes you think you’re on an airplane. Like it creates a draft throughout the house. Usually a few degrees cooler in there too after a few flushes.

I always said when I ever built my own house I’d install those units that are used in hospitals- you can flush a dozen golf balls if needed.

You want to hear about a mindfrick? I read your thread title, then clicked on what I thought was your thread. What I read went like this:

Does anyone have a commercial grade toilet in their home?

Its to allegedly protect the individual from contracting the COVID and to prevent/slow the spreading of the COVID.

I had a solid ten or so seconds of total confusion.

Get a toilet with a jet pack in the tank like they have in the rooms at the Beau Rivage.

I've seen residential pressurized toilets and they work a little different than the commercials ones.

I'd be concerned about a serious clog causing a fast overflow.

Flushmate is the closest thing you can get to those commercial type flushes. I know they come with some Kohler and Sloan toilets. Any Ferguson showroom should have some. I wanted one for my master bath but we needed a replacement in a hurry for a cracked tank. I ended up with a Kohler model from Home Depot with the piston flush valve. It’s been pretty legit so far.

I have installed the Flushmate system in all 4 of my home’s bathrooms. Guests routinely marvel after flushing and ask how they too can have such a fine system in their home toilets.

The system uses a compressed water tank inside your toilet’s water reservoir. When you flush, it feels like riding a Harley.

For around $100, you can have one too. Just browse this LINK to find which system best fits your toilet, pay online, and have it shipped. I recommend buying the specialized tools that make installation a breeze. Installation took me around 30 minutes per toilet. It was so easy, my wife did one herself, as did my youngest son.

If it’s the little things in life like a satisfying toilet flush that bring you joy in life, then you’re gonna love this goddamn toilet. I only wish it came with a kick-start flush mechanism and handlebars with a throttle so I could ride in style.

We replaced our toilets with these after Katrina and they are amazing. We call them super flushes. They are a pretty loud but you get used to it and they have never clogged. Highly recommend. I think they are American Standard.

Did you just install those into your existing toilets? The website says it’s not a retrofit system but I was wondering. Porcelain is porcelain. I didn’t think it mattered but also didn’t want my toilet to explode.

Flushing at work
one of the best benefits for me at work is the toilet. Clean, peaceful, private and you can load up TP in it to avoid splash back and not have to worry about it clogging the toilet

Good question. I should have clarified that I installed new ones into all of my toilets. The toilets already had an older generation system installed. The materials used in an earlier generation allowed a fine mist spray inside the tank after about 15 years. I started replacing the parts about 6 years ago when the issue was observed and recently completed the last one.

Is this why you started the thread about taking items from work? Are you planning on taking one of the toilets?

We have a pressure assist toilet in our half bath. You could throw a bag of marbles in it and they would be flushed away. You can flush again 15 seconds later. You won't be able to shite incognito because it is loud.
