Does anyone have a commercial grade toilet in their home?
Flushing at work or in a public bathroom and not having that 3-5 second worry about whether or not you're gonna have to bust the plunger out is one of the most under appreciated small moments in life. Having a commercial grade in my home is a long term goal for myself.

Is this why you started the thread about taking items from work? Are you planning on taking one of the toilets?

Pretty sure they'd notice.

I have wondered if it is the toilet or the water pressure that does the trick. Would love that in the house.

A commercial grade toilet will not work in a residential setting. They require much higher pressure plumbing.

Toilet & The volume. You need a 1" water line to your toilet

Got one in one of our rooms off of our 2nd living room. It was a covered patio/workshop years ago and the original owners ended up closing it all and making like the sun room/Florida room. It’s now my pool room/sports bar is. There’s a toilet in that bathroom and when it flushes you think you’re on an airplane. Like it creates a draft throughout the house. Usually a few degrees cooler in there too after a few flushes.

Which is why it's a long term goal.

How often do you clog your toilet?

Its about Gallons per flush (GPF), toilet manufacturers could easily place a pump in them to have them more powerful but I'm not sure they are allowed.

I always bring my company-issued TI-30 into the bathroom to measure the flushing capacity.

You know what I've always wanted?

A restaurant grade dishwasher in my kitchen.

A restaurant dishwasher blasts dishes sparkling clean in like 1 minute.

I dream of having one in my kitchen like next to the sink. But they get super hot and steamy insulating that from not warping any surround woodwork or masonry would be a task to say the least.

Google "pressure assisted water closet"...uses standard city pressure (20-25 psi) to fill a vessel that forces the water out, under pressure, when flushed. They're kinda loud, tho.

Here's a video of a pressure assisted flush...fair warning, they use some pretty realistic turds - dropping them in by hand. If you take bigger dumps than this, I don't know what to say.
