Does Amazon even try to ship things on time anymore?

Eight of the last 10 items I've ordered haven't even shipped 36 hours after the time I placed the order. I have a bluetooth headset that's supposedly going to arrive tomorrow before 10:00pm (WTF?) but it hasn't even shipped yet. This is a very common occurrence with Amazon orders of mine lately.
There is no point to this thread but I feel better now that I bitched about it. Carry on.

I’ve ordered at least 20 things from Amazon in the last month and not one has been late.
ETA: I started at the beginning of November for Christmas and actually beginning October but everyone knew this would be problematic especially getting this close to Christmas

Ordered a karate belt rack for my nephew Tuesday and they said it wouldn’t be here until the 19th. It came in today. All depends on what you order and where you live.

Everything I've ordered for Christmas has arrived within the Prime window. Even one thing that wasn't Prime, but was free shipping, came in 3 days.

The frickers were trying to deny a refund yesterday because the item was "too close to shipping" and the delivery date was January 4th.

I have spent a small fortune with Amazon over the last 4 months and 90% of stuff has arrived on time. I have had 2 items end up "Undeliverable", and I had to reorder.

I haven't had any issues with items..
Their shipping dates are very conservative and most items I've ordered arrive sooner than the date expressed.

It got really bad during the "shutdown". Three weeks was fairly normal. I only ordered what I absolutely couldn't find somewhere else.

Could be worse. I ordered some China stuff a few weeks back. Waiting on packages to clear customs takes forever.

That's the one drawback I have on ordering from some of those places. You can get stuff crazy cheap, but it takes forever. I ordered two clamps once and it took a month and a half.
