Do you work with any completely worthless fellow employees?

We all work with slackers. We’re all guilty of some slacking. I’m talking about completely useless and it makes you wonder how on God’s Green Earth they get a paycheck for NOTHING!
We had an assistant chief engineer that we seriously thought never fixed or got one thing working, ever!
He was always ‘working on it’ or ‘researching the problem’ or ‘waiting on quotes for parts’ but he never could solve any issues or fix anything. It always took another engineer when they became available to fix what he couldn’t and 75% of the time fix it quite easily.
And he was there for over five years! And everyone knew he was as useless as men’s nipples.

In every job 50% of the employees do 90% of the work

Just the ones at corporate headquarters.

Yes. In my office we call them “supervisors”

Yep! We had to get them tested.
Two of them took 1-1/2 hours to watch 60 minutes!

Only way this would bother me is:
A. I was paying their salary, in which case they would be fired quickly.
B. Their lack of working caused me more work, in which case I would be very vocal about it.
If neither A nor B exists, more power to them.

Probably closer to 20% of the employees do 90% of the work.

Two.
One reason I came back to work here, to help facilitate their departure.

say no more, that description alone is enough to show hes a useless idiot who causes far more problems then he solves

About 1/2 the employees in the company I work for do almost nothing. Some are management. I'm angry about it almost every day.

Yea, my project manager
I'm having issues with my PM and APM right now too.
All you do is sign contracts, send emails, and order material.
When I'm constantly being told "sorry, you can't do that yet, they aren't under contract." or "we didn't expect them to give us a 10 week lead time, that material won't be here for another month." You are no longer useful to me.
Both are "working from home" yet never answer the damn phone when I call.

Yes, the two people I work with most have a habit of making my job worse.
One is approaching 70, and he may have dementia. He doesn’t respond to emails, forgets to do things by deadlines, doesn’t even know the names of students in his program. Alas, the school district is pretty powerless apparently in getting him out.
The other is a woman who would rather talk all day. Seriously, she will narrate her life story for you if you allow her.

In my experience, it’s more like 15% do 90% of the work.

Yes.
The only reason I dont push for them to get fired is bc i don't want to have to do what little work they do since I'm about the only one who would actually do it.
