Do you ever get tired of the poors honking at you when you put your car in reverse?

This was never a problem until the last decade, because I would never risk backing up if I couldn't physically see the car behind me. It seems like anytime I'm trying to backup somewhere I get honked at. I have a camera on the back of my car. I can see the distance between my car and their car. I know exactly how much space I have. Me and Splenda Baby got honked at this morning in a drive-thru. It was taking forever and I wanted to leave. I throw the car in reverse and some early 2000 Nissan Altima puts on the horn.
I sometimes get honked at for trying to create a little room at a busy stoplight for someone wanting to pull out of a business and turn left and go in the opposite direction.

I think it may be a preventative honk. I will sometimes see people put their car in reverse in a drive thru and then forget it is in reverse. This can cause them to back into the car behind them if they think they are in drive.

Completely agree. Ppl have been straight idiots about this recently. I had a full 10 feet between me and thus lady and as soon as she saw my reverse lights on she was laying on the horn. I kept waving and acknowledging that I saw her, but she was Adamant I had no idea she was there
